Biker Radio Magazine was started after flipping around the dial in the car one day and not finding anything we liked so it was decided to change things a little. Radio stations play the same stuff over and over... always playing your favourite song will soon make you sick of it and this is the trap that radio falls into. This causes what is called " Tune Out ". Enter the mp3 player or at least a choice of media players in a vehicle. YOU choose what you listen to and that is an issue for radio station... you can please some of the people some of the time but....

The questions were: Would anyone WANT a weekly hour long show on motorcycles? With the one series that has been on for a few years about a father and sons business turned into a juggernaut for TV but radio was still looking for something many could relate to. Less fighting would be a good start.

Next question was:What is the best way to get this playing so that we could get feedback soon and really tailor this to the people that ride? The net seemed like the obvious choice so away we go.

Ken, the host, is a 20 year veteran broadcaster and has been focusing more on industrial productions and TV development for the last 5 or so years. With a bit of audio gear and a passion for motorcycles it seemed like a good choice to follow his heart and do two things he really enjoys... broadcasting and bikes. Ken insists that this show is not about the host but the sport/lifestyle and tries to keep a low key approach to the show. The guests will reflect that the show is about YOU... the person that rides. Period.

As time goes on and production of the show grows to something more in tune with the slick stuff you hear everyday, other features will be added. Things will become more interactive and you will find something new every week. The show is free. No download fee. You don't have to sit at the computer to listen and these shows will not become commercials that last for an hour at a time. Even though we have never met, your time is too valuable to us to waste it on something called a show that just pushes a product or company for :60 minutes at a time.

We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy making the shows and always remember that your comments and suggestions are welcome.

Cheers!
